1. Rightclick "Databases" node and choose "New Database Connection...". 2. Specify necessary parameters and click "OK". Result: New connection node is added, but no connection is established.
How do you know the connection is not established - is the icon still showing it as disconnected or is there some other way you determined this?
Yes, icon is still showing it as disconnected. Attempt to expand node fails.
I can reproduce this. I also saw this when I created a new database in the MySQL node. In the past it would create the connection and automatically connect, and now the connection is there but you're not connected. I this this is a P1, even though there is a reasonable workaround, because it's such a visible bug.
I don't mind. :)
Roman/David, Is this reproducible in M1 ? If so, it needs to be a fixed right away. We have a Go/NO go meeting on monday. thanks
After talking to David about this issue, I don't think its a P1 for M1 since there is a work around. It should be definitely fixed for FCS though.
Downgrading to P2, but let's definitely get this fixed for FCS.
This is also breaking the create sample database code because it doesn't have a connected connection. I will see if I can get this fixed.
