Thanks for pointing this out - content in the /docs/ dir is actually 
provided
by sourcecast (the infrastructure hosting nb.org); these are not our
docs at all.  Since legally we can *only* host SPL projects, this
page is totally misleading here.

I should either update or simply remove those docs, and replace them
with pointers to the appropriate nb.org-specific content.

In the meantime pls see

for info about the SPL (based on MPL as you mention).

Here's an update from our manager/template engineer:
'current versions -2.5 and higher -  of SC don't include a
docs/TypicalLicenses.html page.  
Since domain licenses are now customizable, we only include
information about adding/deleting licenses and not information about
specific licenses themselves 
 So, what I'd recommend is the following:

- Remove the docs/TypicalLicenses.html page on their current site
(along with references to that page in Help)

- Don't worry about migrating this change in 2.5 as this page doesn't
exist anymore'

Thus our recommendation is to remove the page. If you want we could do
it for you Jack. Please let us know. Thanks.

I'd be happy to remove it but the links pointing to it
would then be broken.  I'd suggest removing the links 
first - AFAIK they are in servlet generated pages like the 
project add servlet - perhaps step 2 of 
http://www.netbeans.org/servlets/ProjectAddStep1 ?

The only links to /docs/ content would be from SC content
like the servlet above.  If you could search for those 
links, remove them, and then remove the actual /docs/ page,
that would be great.  If I can do anything to help pls let
me know.

changed the references in:

ProjectAddStep2.wm
HelpTOC.wm
ProjectEdit.wm
ProjectAddStep2.html

and removed:

TypicalLicenses.html

action plan: ask Jack to confirm
