I'd actually like to remove this column. I gave a brief try during 6.0 or 6.1 (I forget which) and couldn't easily do it. In C/C++ development it serves no purpose. It displays the same information that the value field does. The best I could easily do was to disable it by default. So it doesn't need rewording, it needs removal!
I agree with removing the toString() row, but still we should consider renaming the others.
The suggested "Name of the variable" suggests a watch is always a variable. This isn't true and a watch can be either a variable or expression. I'm unlikely to get to this in NB 6.5. I'll discuss this with you when I do get to this issue. I'd rather not spend time discussing names until I've got time to change what currently exists.
