The "Add Server Instance" window is empty. I am unable to add a new web server, e.g., Apache http server or Mongrel, etc. The "Steps" pane has two steps: 1. Choose Server 2. ... The "Choose Server" window has and empty, uneditable Server field and an empty Name field. Below, is a red "X" icon and the text: "Choose a server"
seems this issue is depended on setting of you environment. I reassign it to webserver module, guys will ask you for more info what they need.

Apologies all, I didn't see that this was created for Netbeans 6.1 I am having this problem with Netbeans 6.5
Just to add some more to this report. I tried installing Netbeans 6.5.1, in the hope that this would alleviate the problem. When this had the exact same problem as the previous installation, something clicked and i decided to delete the .netbeans folder, in the hope that it would reset some 'preferences' or something It turned out that this had the desired effect and did reset the user settings.
