nb6.1, linux, platform + Java SE + CND Create a new project template and at the end you can see both XPanelVisual.java and XPanelVisual.form editors opened. I think .form file should be hidden to anyone all the time (except when doing versioning operations).
I downloaded and ran netbeans-6.1-javase-linux.sh on Ubuntu using JDK 6, ran NB using fresh userdir, and installed "C/C++" using Plugin Manager. I created an empty Java lib, then a new standalone NBM project. Ran File > New, Project Template on NBM project, selected Java lib, gave dummy name. Other than the Start Page, four editors were then open: two Java sources, an HTML file, and the form in its usual appearance. No ".form" file was visible anywhere.
