Like I mentioned in my original request's comment section:

THE OSR PROCESS IS UNDERWAY. PLEASE DO NOT PUBLISH THESE MODULES YET. I
WILL LET YOU KNOW AS SOON AS WE GET A GO FROM LEGAL. I AM SUBMITTING THIS REQUEST FOR
EXPEDIENCY, ONCE THE WE GET THE OSR CLEARANCE.

even though beta uc modules dont need to be translated, they should
be i18n ok as to things like encoding handling and since now in nb
users can have project in any encoding.

Has this been implemented and tested for this module ?

We have been putting all the strings in Java source in the bundle files. However we have not tested it using other
encodings etc. This is meant to be a Technology Preview. I am not sure what the specific requirements are for that.
Comment 5 Ken Frank 2008-04-30 17:55:41 UTC
Sandip, thanks for clarifying; I think my confusion is that
it will be on beta uc but is viewed as tech preview, which I agree
would not need any i18n; but usually I think modules that are like
tech preview are on dev uc - and ones on beta uc are those that
are more in beta state, which means that the encoding parts should
be done IMO in general for usual beta uc modules.

But I'm not sure about these definitions or expectations - perhaps someone
else on this alias can clarify.

I was told that this needs to go on Beta update center and that is what I requested. Now I am not sure. I will check
with Mark.

Roberte, please stage the modules as soon as possible. I am going to send you the bits offline. Please take this as the
highest priority! Thanks a lot.
Comment 8 rnovak 2008-05-05 12:33:29 UTC
I staged the module on the Beta UC for NB 6.1
Comment 10 Jiri Kovalsky 2008-05-05 12:47:51 UTC
OK, one more round. Could you please Roberte stage the new bits? Thank you very much!
Comment 11 Jiri Kovalsky 2008-05-05 12:56:16 UTC
I see it staged fine. Sandip, do you confirm that the correct version is staged? Thanks for your cooperation.
