The following private methods have a special meaning for Java object serialization (see the Java Object Serialization Specification): private void readObject(ObjectInputStream stream) throws IOException, ClassNotFoundException; private void readObjectNoData() throws ObjectStreamException; private Object readResolve() throws ObjectStreamException; private void writeObject(ObjectOutputStream stream) throws IOException; private Object writeReplace() throws ObjectStreamException; Typically these are only invoked by the Java runtime and not from Java code within the class. It would be nice if these weren't marked as unused by the editor.
