Description pribyl 2008-03-28 15:01:47 UTC
I am posting this with low priority as it is not a Netbeans issue, but I think you should know about it :)
Please feel free to close it as invalid or do whatever you wish after you read that...

When running some mobility project on WTK 2.5.2 (bundled with Netbeans), it crashes whenever there was jpeg image on
some screen. I tested GIF as well, but there was no problem.

The problem is (according to the output window) in the Iced Tea JDKs. When using SUN JDKs, it worked fine.

I just want you know about this bug (I reported on Iced tea bugzilla as well).
Thanks for attention :)

seems like issue https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/icedtea-java7/+bug/203053
are you able to reproduce with openjdk-6-jre?

closing as won't fix as it cannot be fixed on NB side. (It means NOT-OUR-BUG ;) )
Comment 4 pribyl 2008-03-28 16:18:34 UTC
Yep, confirmed.
Moreover, when I posted this issue to Iced tea, they replied that their JDK was removed from Hardy Heron.
So I guess this won't trouble typical Netbeans user anymore.
