Description fommil 2008-03-26 02:31:05 UTC
MicroEmulator is a pure Java CLDC emulation environment which also comes with JSR stubs. The latest version (2.0.2) was released today. I've been using
MicroEmu on OS X for over a year and it works great. In fact, it's the only emulation option for OS X. MPowerPlayer has been unmaintained for almost 2 years
now (last released July 10th, 2006) and is based on very old (and buggy) beta MicroEmu code.

I strongly suggest that this project drops MPowerPlayer support entirely and move people over to MicroEmu. Failing that, at least support MicroEmu. Please :-
)

You can grab the latest version on sourceforge at http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=30014

Thanks for information I'll look at it. You can expect support for this project in the future releases of Mobility (not
6.1).

Thanks for bumping this to P2. However, note that it is not a Mac-specific request. MicroEmu works on all platforms... it just happens to be more widely used
on Macs, as it is the only option. It is still a popular Windows and Linux emulator, due to the fact that it can be embedded in a website as an applet (this is
what the Opera Mini website uses to power their online demo).

OK, I have to investigate this platform before I can say if it's possible to implement support for Mobility. Changing to
all platforms.
