Java: 1.6.0_04; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 10.0-b19
System: Linux version 2.6.24-12-generic running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb)

Go to Tools > Options, click Advanced Options button. Select and expand node "IDE configuration > Look and Feel > Menu
Bar". There are sub-nodes with ampersands (most likely remnants of a mnemonics), for example &File, &Edit, &View, ...

This holds for all ancestors of "Menu Bar" node.

:o) I know that Advanced Options will be removed, this has been discussed since I am here (18.02.2008, t - 4 months),
and they are still there...

Verified, Advanced Options are almost removed now.
