So far, "revert deleted" is quite a good thing in order to quickly restore files that have (accidentally) been removed by the user. However, as I had to learn right now, it suffers from two major flaws: - Being unable to select what resources to be recovered is not that nice given you have to again delete 499 out of 500 restored files just to keep that one you wanted to recover. - "Revert deleted" obviously doesn't keep track of files/packages that have been renamed / refactored so in the end, after doing a longer refactoring session, you end up with possibly having code around twice as the "refactored" items obviously have been considered as "deleted". This is extremely annoying. Any chance to have this enhanced a little anytime soon?
We are aware of the fact that it has limited usage. It can save accidentally deleted file at a cost of big mess if you made lots of refactoring. Enhancement about this is already planned for 7.0, however, it won't be anytime soon :( Another enhancement that would improve local history is in issue #115155, but again, distant future... *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 115153 ***
Merci. Waiting for 7.0 then. :)
