When someone is new to NetBeans, it takes a while to learn and memorize the Code Templates abbreviations, e.g. "sout" for "System.out.println()". The only way in the UI I can find to list them is by opening the "Tools -> Options -> Editor -> Code Templates" Dialog. This is a pain! It would be great if there were a window or something just to list them. Maybe they could be listed in the Palette?
Reassigning to "editor".
Thanks for the tip. Some of the abbreviations are listed in 'Help -> Keyboard shortcuts card', which shows a PDF that you can print out. It's not the most obvious place to go, but they are there alongside with the most important keyboard shortcuts.
