[dev jun 11, MDI] With -J-Dnetbeans.windows.small_main_window=true,
with a long status message printed via TopManager, the whole menu bar
can be hidden and replaced by just status message, i.e. menus do not
set their minimum size correctly. Did not happen in release32 AFAIK.

Note: I have not seen this happen recently, perhaps it was a transient
problem somewhere...

In dev Oct 09 works for me, a status message displayed beside menus
correctly.

It does not happen very often at all, I would have no idea how to
reproduce it. If I find out I will reopen.
