When we add a filter and map it to a portlet  <filter> and <filter-mapping> tags are created.
Now when we expand portlet.xml"(ie:click on "+ " symbol) under "Configuration files" we can see the  filtername (along
with the graphical icon) of the filter we just created. 

If we manually remove the <filter> and <filter-mapping> tag from portlet.xml the filtername (alongwith the icon) should
disappear when we click on "portlet.xml->refresh".

Changes are reflected once we save the portlet.xml.No autorefresh needed.
