Description Michael Nazarov 2008-02-13 14:46:27 UTC
Product Version: NetBeans IDE 6.0.1 (Build 200801291616)
Java: 1.6.0-ea; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 11.0-b06
System: Linux version 2.6.24-3-generic running on i386; ANSI_X3.4-1968; en_US (nb)

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start IDE.
2. Create BluePrint1 sample.
3. Deploy.

Deployment will failed.
Similar issue already was filed and fixed, I decided to create new one especially for
Ubuntu pack for easier tracking.

Check attached log for details.

One more thing -- originally NB comes without required modules, so plugins were downloaded
and installed via plugins' manager.

Comment 2 Ivan Sidorkin 2008-02-13 15:19:30 UTC
the problem is you use server without installed OpenESB components
Comment 3 Michael Nazarov 2008-02-13 16:22:42 UTC
Possibly yes, but this is preinstalled one and I as end user even have no
info about. I'm actually trying to make tutorial without success...
Comment 4 Sergey Lunegov 2008-02-13 16:30:08 UTC
Doesn't looks to me as bug at all.
Comment 5 Michael Nazarov 2008-02-13 16:40:10 UTC
May be you right it's really not a bug but it's looks like.
Comment 6 Petr Blaha 2008-02-13 17:39:41 UTC
Can you close the issue as invalid?
Comment 7 Kirill Sorokin 2008-02-14 07:01:37 UTC
I'd say it IS valid, as the error message for deployment failure should clearly state what caused that failure. In this
case -- "The required JBI components (BPEL SE, etc.) cannot be found on the target server." Thus I'd argue that this is
something we need to fix.
Comment 8 Sergey Lunegov 2008-02-14 07:03:44 UTC
not a bug
Comment 9 Sergey Lunegov 2008-02-14 08:08:06 UTC
This is enhancement rather than bug and certainly not P1.
Comment 10 Michael Nazarov 2008-02-26 13:48:45 UTC
Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200802251204)
Java: 1.6.0_04; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 10.0-b19
System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1251; ru_RU (nb)

Found this on other platforms as well. Okey, this is not an issue but I'm unable
to deploy application after downloading and installing full version of NB.
What am I doing wrong?
Comment 11 Michael Nazarov 2008-02-26 13:56:12 UTC
Tried to start sun-bpel-engine through the Services page.
No success, so this IS issue. Check screenshot for error message.

After unsuccessful starting got error for each click on items under Shared Libraries node.
Check screenshot also -- no way to copy text only from this dialog.
