Description Roman Mostyka 2008-02-12 12:35:41 UTC
NetBeans 6.0.1 on Linux Ubuntu Hardy.

1. Add some Web Service or EJB.
2. Drag Web Service or EJB or some of their method and move cursor to Designer.

Result: Cursor shows that drop is forbidden, but if drop Web Service or EJB or some of their method onto the page ot
some components everything is fine (if drop onto components then it becomes bound).

On Windwos XP everything is fine.

roman,

does that occur in NetBeans installed on the same linux using NBI installer and/or even zip distribution?
Comment 2 Petr Blaha 2008-02-12 13:21:10 UTC
Roman, is also important to mention which jdk is used for testing. Do you use openJDK?
Comment 3 Roman Mostyka 2008-02-12 17:14:43 UTC
Product Version: NetBeans IDE 6.0.1 (Build 080206)
Java: 1.6.0-ea; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 11.0-b06
System: Linux version 2.6.24-3-generic running on i386; ANSI_X3.4-1968; en_US (nb)

And the same happens with NetBeans installed on the same Linux using NBI installer.

The same as issue #127275.
Comment 5 Quy Nguyen 2008-03-21 00:29:10 UTC
Closing as a duplicate of issue #127275. There is already a bug filed against the JDK linked from that issue.
