marking as issue only since global l10n.list file includes html files, but for the php docs module, those files should not be in l10n kit, since those files are from php own docs and won't be translated -- thus a custom l10n.list file that excludes those files are needed. (However the bundle file will still be in kit since it will be translated)
am not referring to any php own olh module that will live in php1/modules/docs; only to the org-netbeans-modules-php-doc.jar that lives in php1/modules. php own olh will be translated. ken.frank@sun.com
since this was filed, the approach to l10n kits is a bit different now with one global pattern list; see the info sent by BE to your mgmt about it and that it was decided php will not be translated for 61. and the kit is built from product now, not repos as in past. But for trunk now and release61 branch, php, since it wont be translated now, is excluded from the kit. thus please don't fix this now in trunk or release61 branch; please wait until the time when php will be translated. ie don't modify the global pattern files now. ken.frank@sun.com
Hi Ken, do you know what is current status in the latest dev build of 6.5? The php docs module has been removed recently. Also, I tried to build the l10n kit myself, and hit issue #137347. Or, is there a place where I can download the latest l10n kit builds?
if php docs jar is not to be in 6.5, then this should not be a problem and can be closed, since l10n kits are now built from product, and not from cvs thus no need to correct any patterns file to exclude this jar. l10n kits not start until later in the cycle closer to msg/ui freeze time. ken.frank@sun.com
Maring as fixed, because I removed the doc module from the build last week.
verified.
