Description cgfulton 2008-02-01 00:30:18 UTC
I am unable to create new java sample projects due to the spaces in the names of the projects.

Error:
------
Project Name is not valid folder name

To reproduce:
-------
Attempt to create a new Java sample project on linux.
File -> New Project -> Samples -> Java -> Mars Rover Viewer

Thanks for the report.

Where's the space in the path? I don't think it's "Mars Rover Viewer" - that's just the display name in wizard. Once
copied to disk, the project name is MarsRoverView.

Do you have any more info here?
Comment 3 Patrick Keegan 2008-03-14 13:23:58 UTC
Geertjan, can you try to reproduce this?
Comment 4 Geertjan Wielenga 2008-03-17 17:26:18 UTC
Tried it on Ubuntu Linux, Patrick created the original project on Windows. On both our systems it works without a
problem. I am closing this as WORKSFORME, but if you continue having problems, please reopen it and provide detailed
steps of how to reproduce it, as well as stating the operating system that you are using, and any other relevant details.
