This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
1. Create several documents (Java classes, for example) and open each of them in tabs. 2. Create one more document, but do not open it (close if it opened automatically). 3. DnD it from Projects window to chosen tab. Result: the document opens, its tab is placed in the end of tabs list. It would be better if it placed after chosen tab. It's very small issue, but it seems to be easy to implement it.
IMHO that is a question of taste. Reassigning from IDE to the EDITOR...
