All links on this page are wrong : http://www.netbeans.info/downloads/all.php?b_id=3240&src=1 (eg : http://www.netbeans.info/downloads/start.php?f_id=21465&lang_id=19)
The links are broken indeed. Must be fixed ASAP Rising priority to P1
Is this really a P1? As far as I can tell it's some five months old daily build from a codeline two releases back. This property can justify for P3, but certainly not P1. Please update justification for P1. See following questions which can help you understand what answers I seek. I don't need answers for all questions. The more answers you provide, the better justification for P1. Why it should be P1? Where it is linked from? What products/documents depend on this link? What is visibility of this issue? How can website user get to this issue? What is that special on "five months old daily build from a codeline two releases back", that it got such great attention? Now comes the workaround: when you get directed to a file with URL like http://download.netbeans.org/netbeans/download/5_5/daily/200707110000/netbeans-5_5-daily-bin-200707110000-windows-ml_az_cs_de_el_es_fr_in_it_nl_sq_sv_zh_TW-11_Jul_2007_0000.exe replace substring "download.netbeans.org/netbeans/download" with string "www.netbeans.org/download" and it's very likely you'll get requested file. Decreasing priority to P3 as there's no clear justification for P1 at this moment and workaround exists.
>Why it should be P1? It's my first issue here on NetBeans.org so I'm not the right person to answer this, that's why I left it to its default (P3) at first. >Where it is linked from? 1. http://www.netbeans.org/ 2. "Download NetBeans IDE 6.0" button 3. "Archive" link (upper right corner) 4. Select NetBeans Version : 5.5, Build type : Daily 5. Any of the download links dated 2007 6. Any of those download links (http://www.netbeans.info/downloads/all.php?b_id=3240&src=1) >What products/documents depend on this link? >What is visibility of this issue? The fact is that wrong links are visible on the website, so I recommend to either fix it or remove it from the entries in the archive section. >How can website user get to this issue? See previous answer. >What is that special on "five months old daily build from a codeline two releases back", that it got such great attention? As far as I know, this is the last NetBeans version that supports other languages like French. However, I did not find any information clearly indicating that. >Now comes the workaround: Thank you
Removing meaningless "version"s for www issues.
