Description tigera 2007-12-03 22:11:33 UTC
In Netbeans 6, released today, I've been having trouble where the navigator windows will jump back to the top when I
right-click. The context menu that appears is not the context menu for what I right-clicked. This does not happen
every time that I right-click, nor does it happen in every frame; it seems to happen only occasionally with the
navigator windows.
Comment 1 Lukas Hasik 2007-12-04 10:17:44 UTC
thank you for report.
Could you attach a screenshot?
What JDK and OS are you using?
Comment 2 tigera 2007-12-13 01:25:41 UTC
I attempted to capture a screenshot, but under GNOME, at least with Compiz, I can't. The Print Screen key doesn't seem
to work when there is a context menu open.
I am using jdk1.6.0_03 under Ubuntu 7.10.
Comment 3 David Simonek 2008-02-29 13:48:01 UTC
try using "gimp" application to get screenshot.

what are "navigator windows"? I guess a window called "Navigator" where methods and variables of current editor document
are shown?
Comment 4 tigera 2008-03-01 01:01:29 UTC
You are correct - they are the windows where the class hierarchy is shown. Unfortunately, I cannot figure out how to
take a screenshot with the menu open in GNOME or KDE. I can only take a screenshot without the context menu.
Comment 5 David Simonek 2008-03-05 11:40:38 UTC
Probably some bug in java navigation or Swing itself. Passing to java/navigation.

Image capturing:
1) Applications -> Graphics -> GIMP image editor
2) in Gimp: File -> Acquire -. Screenshot
3) In dialog, set 5 seconds capture delay, press "Snap" and quickly go to the navigator and invoke popup menu and wait
for screenshot.

I am closing the issue - cannot reproduce from the provided info, sorry.

However, the screenshot of the problem could help, so tigera, please, if you manage to obtain it, reopen the issue with
the screenshot (or anything else that could help).

Thank you
