Description Peter Liu 2007-11-28 01:43:40 UTC
Since we plan to remove all the WSDL-based services from the component palette, we need to populate the component
palette with more third-party RESTful services such as Amazon S3, Flicker, Youtube, etc. We will try to support most of
them by generating code from WADLs hand written for these services.
Comment 1 Peter Liu 2007-12-05 01:47:08 UTC
I have updated the summary of this feature to reflect the decision that we will do away with the REST component palette
and make these services available on the Web Service Manager node. The goal is to allow users to generate java code to
consume these services by DnD the services the service manager node to a java class file.

This issue will be used to keep track of the status on the infrastructures and the set of SAS services we plan to
support. Here is the list of services we will are looking at:

AmazonS3
AmazonECS
Delicious
Facebook
Flickr
GoogleAccounts
GoogleGeocoder
Namefinder
SecureFacebook
Twitter
WeatherBugLiveWather
YahooTrafficService
YahooTripSearch
YouTubeVideos
Zillo
zvents

There will be dependent issue filed to keep track of changes on the Web Service Manager to support non-wsdl based services.
