It happens when generating model report for a UML platform-independent project... and lifelines in a sequence diagram do
not have comments (documentation).

Lifeline without documentation is not a reproducible case. The stack trace seems to indicate there is an item in the
model tree that does not have model element associated with it. If possible please attach the project to help identify
the root cause, thanks.

Sorry, can't add project until plugins are restored (http://www.netbeans.org/issues/showvotes.cgi?issue_id=124670), had
to install UML plugin again... :-)

incomplete for a year, can't be fixed without additional details, feel free to reopen if still reproducible and please
provide more details on the issue.
