Description Lukas Jungmann 2007-10-23 16:51:31 UTC
-create new REST sample project, ie. HelloWorld and use default location for it

=> sample project is created in:
~/NetBeansProjects/HelloWorld/HelloWorld
but it should be created in:
~/NetBeansProjects/HelloWorld
Comment 1 Peter Liu 2007-10-26 21:34:40 UTC
This is intentional. At least, the soa and identity samples are created this way. I am closing this as wontfix. If you
think this is unacceptable, we can discuss this some more.
Comment 2 Lukas Jungmann 2008-01-30 16:04:04 UTC
I think that extensions (like ie. REST, SOA, Identity, BPEL, whatever) should follow conventions used by the core IDE
(they are set by Java/Web samples)
Comment 3 Lukas Jungmann 2008-03-24 00:40:29 UTC
see my previous comment - if there's only one project in a sample then it should not be created in some sub-directory,
OTOH if there are more projects in a sample then they should be created in one user-defined directory

If you are interested in providing a patch for this bug, please see our NetFIX guidelines for how to proceed.

We apologize for any inconvenience.
