Although I have the Groovy editor module installed (brand new userdir) there seems to be no groovy support at all in NB
(see screenshot).

Please try latest groovy plugin from dev update center (if you are using daily builds) or from http://plugins.netbeans.org/PluginPortal/faces/PluginDetailPage.jsp?pluginid=4251 if you are using 6.0 RC2 or FCS
