1. Perform a search.
2. Select some text containing searched words.
3. Copy and paste it somewhere (in the same editor).

The pasted text didn't has the searched words highlighted.
This occur also in preferences editor.

Yes, the highlighting is not properly updated when the document changes. Sorry for that.
