I have the files tab open, project tree expanded down to nbproject folder for my EJB project and I am editing jax-ws.xml. Every time I press save, the project tree in the files tab collapses. If I edit a .java source file and press save, it does not affect the tree. Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200710100000) Java: 1.6.0; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0-b105 System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1252; en_US (nb)
Reassigning to j2ee for evaluation. I am not sure whether it is the right component, reassign as appropriate if it is not, please.
User should not edit any file under nbproject dir unless he really knows what he is doing. Why do you have to edit jax-ws.xml? The same happens if you would edit project.xml - therefore passing to projects for eval. Thanks.
Similar to issue #116290. Various changes to project metadata can cause nodes in the logical view to be recreated. Fixable in every case but a lot of work for little reward.
