Description Oleg Khokhlov 2007-10-16 17:02:56 UTC
After users build their project they press 'Run Project'
in Eclipse it takes about 2 seconds to start user's application
in 5.5.1 about 10s.
in latest 6.0 builds it takes 30+ seconds
(measured on recommended HW with limewire j2se project - 2000+ classes).

That's because "Track Java Dependencies" checkbox is on by default.
Such a long time for starting application will be a bad surprise for people who just migrated their projects to 6.0 from
5.5.1 or from Eclipse.

I suppose this is a P2 as there is significant regression to Nb 5.5 and run time is many times slower compared to our
competitors.

2 or 10 seconds is acceptable for user. 30 seconds is already annoying.
