Description ahagopian 2007-10-16 15:30:54 UTC
[ BUILD # : 20071015 ]
[ JDK VERSION : 1.6.0_02 ]

This might be a limitation on the JVM and not a netbeans issue but I
find this to be a minor annoyance.

When trying out the full screen netbeans it always uses my primary
monitor only. If I have netbeans running in my 2nd monitor (which I
normally do) and I maximize it, it maximized on my 2nd monitor.

But when I do full screen, it jumps over to my other monitor for full
screen. Then when I turn off full screen it jumps back to my 2nd
monitor. Not a big deal but a bug none the less.

Also seeing this issue running on kubuntu 9.04 with netbeans 6.71 on thinkpad x61

Is there a fix for it?

Getting the same problem in Mac OS X:

Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.0 (Build 201104080000)
Operating System = Mac OS X version 10.6.7 running on x86_64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_24
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 19.1-b02-334

As of version 7.2 NetBeans uses native full screen support in Mac OS X Lion.
