There is possible to customize lots of things in ide. From its default (full) looks its quite easy to remove them. But how to bring them back? I know only one way: In user.dir/system/ delete apropriate "xxx hidden" file I'll bet no ordinary user will know this. It will needs some visual tool how to add/remove the items. (Like the old jarpackager behave: 2 panels between them buttons ADD, REMOVE)

Target milestone was changed from '3.4' to TBD.
Interesting proposal - general solution would involve filesystems to provide some extra info about objects marked as hidden, and special nodes (presentation layer) to form some traditional tree-like view for anvanced users to allow them hide/show menu, toolbar and other actions. However, it would be implementation intensive, a lot of work. Needs discusssion on mailing lists if it is worth.
OK, thanks....at last some reasonable take cahrge of it could you start it with it on mailing list?

Customization of menus isn't desirable (very few users want this), customization of toolbar is being solved by Hanz in his options/settings simplification work, so closing this as obsolete.
