[ BUILD # : 20071007 ] [ JDK VERSION : 1.6.0_02 ] I've installed a few daily builds at this point, always uninstalling the previous before installing the new one. This morning I downloaded the latest availabe 20071007 and while it downloaded, uninstalled the previous which I think was 20071001. The uninstall was successful. After doing so I tried to install the new one but was given an error: Failed to load the local registry. I'll attach a screen shot and upload my .nbi directory. After making a copy of my .nbi directory I tried to process and now it wants to install glassfish and tomcat which are both already installed.
Created attachment 50397 [details] screenshot of the error while running the installer
Created attachment 50398 [details] tarball of the /root/.nbi directory
Your NBI registry seems to be corrupted because of the issue 115451 (I see that from the file 20071008091156.log inside the tarball of .nbi directory) Unfortunately there are no meens to recover from this error : the only thing to do is to remove .nbi directory and when it would be required remove installation directories by hand (rm -rf <install-dir>) for the previous installations and not use the uninstaller.sh. Removing the .nbi directory will result in loss of all the installer information so the next time installer would know nothing about previously installed NetBeans/GlassFish/tomcat.
