Invoking online help in the properties window or properties customizer brings up help for schema editor not help properties window. Steps: 1. Create a new XML schema 2. If the properties window is not open it, open it now 3. Bring focus to the properties window and invoke online help (F1). Help for schema view is displayed but I think help for properties window should be. 4. You get the same result if you add an element and open the properties dialog for the new element via pop-up menu and invoke online help on this properties customizer
More, same thing happens when source view is opened. It's definitely wrong, because source view has another help topic than schema view.

This is not a duplicate of 116577, it is a different problem. In 116577 opening help for the properties customizer would bring up whatever the last help topic was. I expected that that issue would be solved and that help for properties window would be brought up. Instead the fix fixed the problem that help on properties brings up last help so I verified that it was fixed. Then since the original intent was to have the proper help topic displayed, I created this bug. The problem is that invoking help for the properties window or properties customizer does not bring up the properties window help topic it brings up schema editor help. This is what needs to be fixed.
This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue. Thanks for your cooperation, NetBeans IDE 8.2 Release Boss
