Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200709200000) 
Java: 1.5.0_07; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_07-87 
System: Mac OS X version 10.4.10 running on i386; MacRoman; en_US (nb)

Steps to reproduce:
1/ install 6.0 beta 1 from installer
2/ the runnable is in /Applications/NetBeans/NetBeans 6.0 Beta 1.app
3/ install 6.0 dev build from installer from 09/20
4/ there is no new runnable
5/ starting /Applications/NetBeans/NetBeans 6.0 Beta 1.app causes that the Development Version starts - it is strange
that executable with "Beta" in its name starts dev build (see attached screenshot displaying Development Version
screenshot that starts from /Applications/NetBeans/NetBeans 6.0 Beta 1.app)
