This is maybe a more general problem, but I observed it in File->Options->Misc->Ant. I had resized the Options windows when looking at another tab/menu, and when I later wanted to verify an options I knew I had set for ant, I could not find the test box where I entered it. The dialog looked "normal" and complete, it was only later when I checked another installation I understood that a lower part of the dialog was hidden. The reason I was fooled at first, was that my resizing done from another dialog caused the lower "end-line" of the Ant dialog to hit the gray area between the two text-areas (Classpath and Properties). I would appreciate a visual queue telling me that there is more information in this dialog. A typical example of such a queue, is a scroll-bar. I have illustrated the problem with two screen-shots.

Passing to core/options...
Reassigning to new module owner jskrivanek.
I don't see any general solution. If some panel is badly designed it should be fixed. That's why I marking this issue as a duplicate of issue against ant/options. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 116011 ***
