When I try to install the plugin from the Plugin Manager, I get the following error.

Unable to connect to the http://www.netbeans.org/download/nbms/60/beta/org-netbeans-modules-gsf.nbm.

It is known limitation on Mac with certain profiles of IDE. You have to do an extra step in order to install the plugin
on Mac. Extra steps are described in FAQ item
"Why do I get an error during the installation of the JavaFX plugin on a MacOS X system?"
in JavaFX Plugin FAQ: http://wiki.netbeans.org/wiki/view/JavaFXPluginUserFAQ.

Or install pure "Java SE" profile of IDE, with this profile extra steps are not necessary. 

Actual reason of this issue is fixed in Netbeans trunk. Setting target milestone to Beta2
