This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
Project properties shows a list of servers which the project might use as a target server. Users are not aware of that fact that the list does not always show all registered servers but only those which are able to run the given project. They tend to think that it is a bug. The dialog should somehow tell the user that some of the servers might not be in the list. The same issue applies to all Java EE projects and also to the "resolve missing server" dialog.
I agree - the only question is *how* to tell it.
This is enhancement not defect. tmysik, do we have some HIE engineer who could share his opinion on this?
I don't know, probably Jan Rojcek - am I right, Petr? Thank you.
Yes, ask either Jano or Ondra Langr.
