Build 070807. Twice now, abbreviations like sout and serr have suddenly stopped working for me. After a while they start working again. In both cases, I have been coding for hours and there is no exception or noticable event that causes them to stop working, so I can't be too helpful in providing steps to reproduce. But maybe you know of something that could be causing this.
I've seen it too. I was doing common work - creating and editing files. It start working again after opening Options -> editor -> code templates tab Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 070809) Java: 1.6.0_03-ea; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0_03-ea-b01 System: Linux version 2.6.5-1.358 running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb) Userdir: /home/jp159440/.netbeans/dev
Ok, let's see if we can gather more info to track it down.
Are there any logging abbreviations that can help? This happens maybe twice in six hours of coding, for a few minutes at a time, so it's pretty difficult to reproduce.
It happened to me few days ago too. No idea what could be the reason. I will add a logging so that we can trace it.
