Shift-F10 no longer works in most panes of the SQL Editor. This affects sereval steps. Without it, the user cannot parse of run queries. Also, how does navigate between the panes? In the past, it was Alt-1, Alt-2, Alt-3, etc. This does not work.
I'm not even sure what could cause this. I will try to reproduce...
By the way, are you talking about the visual editor or the sql editor? I just want to be clear.
Hi, James. I don't know about navigating between panes - I think you mean the various editor documents opened up, right? You might try sending your question to a wider list like nbusers or nbdev.
Oh, also, when you say "can not parse or run queries," I'm not sure what you mean. I *think* you mean that if your SQL editor has multiple statements, you should be able to run individual statements separately, and that used to work with Shift-F10, is that right? Also also, what platform are you on? I'm assuming Windows.
Hi David, I files this in August 2007, when I was working on one of the 6.0 Milestones. There's a chance it was fixed without knowledge of this issue. I was testing the exiting A11Y Help topic for the Editor, and then noticed that some of these did not work: e.g. navigating between panes. Also, when right-clicking the user we not given the option to parse queries, etc. This was all on Windows XP (Parellels on Mac.) I also had a colleague try it on his PC, and he got the same results. If you're unable to reproduce this, then go ahead and mark it as fixed. If I come across the problem again, I'll file another big and assign it directly to you.
James, still not clear from the last description what exactly doesn't work. Please describe what you are doing in simple steps, such as "invoke View Data", "click the SQL Command 1 tab", etc. Thanks.
