Options dialog is unreasonably too large which causes the scrollbars to appear. It is hard to use it then. I'm using two monitors. Not sure what causes this. Let me now if I can help somehow. Attaching screenshot.

i found a way how to reproduce this: 1) start with an empty userdir (or at least with a configuration where the option dialog appears without scrollbars) 2) open the options dialog 3) maximize it 4) close the options dialog (cancel) 5) reopen it again. from now on you'll have those scrollbars but only until you 1) go to .${netbeans.user.dir}/config/Preferences/org/netbeans/modules/options 2) delete api.properties
Thanks for the steps to reproduce and the workaround, Leon. This is exactly what I'm doing quite often, having Alt+F10 mapped to "maximize window" WM action in Fluxbox. Now it should be eas(y/ier) to fix this, right? ;)
