Description ekolis 2007-06-27 19:42:03 UTC
There are 2 "expand tabs to spaces" options in the basic options window, one under Editor / Indentation and the other
under Java Code / Formatting. Presumably the former is a global setting while the latter applies only to Java code (as
opposed to Ruby or some other language), and presumably the latter overrides the former, but I don't think it's quite
clear from the GUI, and turning off the former without knowledge of the existence of the latter might make people wonder
"hey, I turned that off, why won't it actually do anything?!?" So I think there should be some sort of labels in the GUI
next to each option noting what exactly the option does and where to find the other option.

Yes, the options dialog needs redesign, see 105471
