hello, I need maven support modules be updated/added both to dev and M10 update centers. I've removed the "feature" module. As I understand it, the AU now has different way of grouping modules. Please create a feature "Maven" containing all the modules. AUC request: ============ Module: Maven Support AUC Type: Dev + M10 AUC Version: 6.0 AUC Category: Maven Contact: mkleint@netbeans.org Reason: module update NetBeans signature: Yes URL: http://deadlock.netbeans.org/hudson/job/mevenide/121/artifact/mevenide-AU-SNAPSHOT.zip
I published Maven modules on the Main UC for NB 6.0 M10
the dev update center still references the old 3.0.3 version. Can we get that one updated as well? please use this build for trunk (http://deadlock.netbeans.org/hudson/job/mevenide/123/artifact/mevenide-AU-SNAPSHOT.zip) as it fixes a few post-M10 API incompatibilities.
Roberte, can you please update the Development Update Center as well?
Maven modules were updated on Development Update Center as well.l
I am going to reopen this issue. Version 3.0.4 is correctly on M10 UC but in trunk I see Maven in version 3.0.3. It is reproducible in following build: Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200707171200) Java: 1.5.0_07; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_07-87 System: Mac OS X version 10.4.10 running on i386; MacRoman; en_US (nb)
Maven modules were updated on the Dev UC to version 3.0.4
Roberte, you probably missed my comment from Jun 3rd, where I point out that the dev update center shall have newer binaries. That's causing P1 issues for some people upgrading. -> raising this one to P1 defect as well. please use the latest trunk build for the dev update center: http://deadlock.netbeans.org/hudson/job/mevenide/142/artifact/mevenide-AU-SNAPSHOT.zip I'm not increasing the spec version of teh modules just yet. so it still will be 3.0.4 but at least the people who upgrade or install from now on are safe. I will comment on #110804 on how to workaround the issue for those who already upgraded.
Ops, you are right, I missed your comment that Dev UC should contain newer version. I just uploaded the NBMs you provided.
Milosi, modules that you pointed have increased spec version to 3.0.5. Roberte, there are different bits in M10 vs. Dev update center. In M10 there is available Maven in version 3.0.4 through update center while in Dev there is 3.0.5 available through update center. In Dev build I met the following issue: http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=109365
AFTER MORE THAN A MONTH THE MAVEN SUPPORT IS STILL MISSING FROM THE DEV AU! I'm not sure if it already was there and disappered or never was there, but I keep on getting emails from people who installed the old 5.5 based version which has dependency issues in 6.0 dailies.
Maven modules were re-published, please double check.
Roberte, what kind of change have you made? There is still maven in version 3.0.4 in M10 UC.
The upload was done to Dev UC for trunk.
To what version did you upgrade bits? There used to be 3.0.5 and still there are 3.0.5 bits on Update Center for trunk. As I know the latest available version of maven support is 3.0.7. I have to admit that I still didn't get it. Roberte, please what was the change that you have made?
As I was talking with Robert right now I understand it finally that maven bits were missing completely on dev UC. So that bits of maven 3.0.5 are available there now. Probably this version is correct now but I will ask Milos on Monday to be sure.
Milos confirmed that 3.0.5 is the correct version on dev update center. Roberte, you should set issue as resolved first so that I can make it verified.
Per confirmation from module owner, I'm closin this issue as fixed.
Verified.
