When an internal frame is maximized in MDI mode, all other internal frames are maximized too. Not sure whether this is a bug or a feature.
[NetBeans 3.2 build #14] Martin - that's a bug for sure (nice one ;) I remember there was very similar one in earlier MDI development stages - see Issue #9146 but it was fixed. Steps to reproduce: 1. switch to MDI, open more internal frames in desktop area 2. maximize some internal frame 3. click on X of it to close it -> another window will appear in maximized mode (try to close that as well - another window will appear maximized) NOTE: Dafe I'm rising priority to P3 if it's ok for you.
Reassigned to Vita, he's already familiar with maximalization/minimalization troubles. This seems to be regression of older bug, how it could appear again?
This behavior is wanted, it is useful to have all desktop panes mazimized together, usually you want your panes to take whole desktop area, because you want to see as much from their content as possible. You can swith between panes by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F6 (forward) or Ctrl+ALt+Shift+F6 (backward), similar behavior can be found in other products (see Microsoft's Visual Studio).
