OS: NT 4.0 SP 6 JDK: Sun JDK 1.3.0_02 Netbeans 3.2 build: 13 UI Mode: MDI If I enable the editor toolbar (Project settings) then open a file the toolbar is empty. Files opened subsequently have a correctly populated editor toolbar. Closing the editor and reopening the original file also populates the editor toolbar correctly. Disabling and re-enabling the editor toolbar means that the toolbar is not populated for the first file opened.
Seems to be OK [build 19] The exception is when the file itself is unparseable :-( and does not yield any data.
Using build 19, it still doesn't work for me. If I enable the editor toolbar then open a file, the toolbar is not populated. The file I am using is ColorPreviewBeanInfo, from the tutorial. I've attached a screendump.

It seems that the toolbar was ungracefully handling multiple add/remove from the visible component hirearchy.
