Editing, compiling, and executing a source file just to change Editor abbreviations seems quite unnecessary--if this feature is kept, it should certainly be a property of the Editor node and customi
zable from the Property Sheet.

Also, the User`s Manual says to look for the customization source file in examples/internal/Abbrev.java, whereas in fact it is in examples/advanced/Abbrev.java.
