Lukas, could you please describe steps to reproduce the issue? From you registry.xml file I can see that you have installed at least 2 builds - one basic and one full (custom installed). Is that true?

1, I have more dav 6.0 builds installed on my hard disk. 2, I deleted some of them manually from the HD. 3, I wanted to install the new dev build netbeans-6.0-nightly-200705230000-standard-windows.exe 4, the installer starts and reported to me some messages (installe1.jpg + installer2.jpg) 5, I clicked "Yes" on all the messages 6, the exception appeared

I am not quite sure but probably the following code (in Registry#validateInstallations) does not work as expected: product.getParent().removeChild(product);
*** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 106460 ***
the issue 106460 is really duplicate of this issue. Not vice versa. The habit is to keep the origin issue and close the newer one. I'm verifying this one as duplicate only because the duplicate is P1 ;) IMHO, it has no sense to close issue B as duplicate of A and then A as duplicate of C. It would be more clearer when B,C are duplicates of A.
ok, next time we`ll be more accurate and follow the settled conventions. thanks, Dmitry
Dmitry, it's not so serious. There are no written rules ;) It's usually complicated with duplicates... 1, keep the most valuable issue 2, keep the oldest one 3, keep the one that you like the most
