Description mlanza 2007-05-10 22:20:12 UTC
Despite having the ruby-debug-ide gem installed and having configured via [Tool
> Options] the fast debugger to point to this gem, I get the warning message
that Fast Debugger won't work without the gem being installed. I even have the
dependent gems installed (ruby-debug-base). I can debug with the standard
debugger but it is slower than a tortoise on sedatives.
Comment 1 Martin Entlicher 2007-05-11 07:05:22 UTC
Moving ro ruby for evaluation.
Comment 2 Tomas Danek 2007-05-11 13:19:33 UTC
Can you add information about build you use? And (if possible) describe the
steps you took since your ide started?? Thanks in advance.
Comment 3 Martin Krauskopf 2007-05-11 14:46:24 UTC
I know there was a similar bug in the past. Could you check the latest ruby trunk?

PS: as described here: http://wiki.netbeans.org/wiki/view/RubyInstallation

No feedback so far. Also I've put another related fix recently. Please let me
know (=reopen this issue), preferably with the message log attached, as
described at:

http://wiki.netbeans.org/wiki/view/RubyDebugging#section-RubyDebugging-HowToFileABug

if the newest build from hudson (see
http://wiki.netbeans.org/wiki/view/RubyInstallation) still does not work for
you. Thanks.
