I am filing in nbi category - is this still correct or should installer category now be used ? ssue 102428 was fixed by changing how df command was used and it seems to have worked in recent builds up to the m9. I am using the 0501 m9. Its not the same errror as before in that other bug shown in summary panel and there are no exceptions in the log or on screen - now it just says on last panel, if I run in ja locale - Not enough free disk space. Additional 318 MB is required in /net (yet that is not the path given to install ide, since /net is the base of any nfs mount point on this solaris and the path given was /net/<machinename>/export/home/somedirname which did have enough space. This does not happen on ja_JP.UTF-8 or zh or fr or en locales even though the df command is localized in the ja utf8 one also. I am not installing into a dir or path to dir that has mbyte in it, although the jdk search will find such dirs, but am guessing that is separate operation than this situation. thus this seems different than the other bug. PS this is not seen on linux - df command seems localized on it attached is the log file. .nbi dir was cleaned out before starting installs.

Ken, thanks a lot for reporting. As for the proper category. installer/code is preferred, but you can use nbi/engine as well.
for j1 preview/m9 should there be a release note entry about this ? w/o would be to install in en locale, but ok to run in ja locale on solaris. ken.frank@sun.com
Ken, This issue could be fixed as the part of fix 102872. Could you please verify whether it is reproducible or not?
According to Ken`s e-mail the issue is no more reproducible in the latest nightly builds (build from trunk). So I mark the issue as fixed. Ken, please, verify anyway.
