Description Jan Chalupa 2001-03-14 09:38:00 UTC
1. Open some .java files in the editor
2. Switch the Project Settings | Java Sources | Show Editor Toolbar property
3. The change in the settings is not reflected in the editor
4. Newly opened editor panes follow the new setting
Comment 1 Svata Dedic 2001-03-14 12:45:49 UTC
Is it really a P-2 problem ?
Comment 2 Svata Dedic 2001-03-26 13:23:08 UTC
Fixed for 3.2.13, dev-154
Comment 3 Jan Becicka 2001-04-09 16:22:28 UTC
[release32-23] Verified
Comment 4 Jan Chalupa 2001-05-05 23:25:56 UTC
Target milestone -> 3.2
Comment 5 Jan Becicka 2001-05-14 14:52:56 UTC
If "show editor toolbar" is set to true for the *first* time, it has no effect.
Editor must be reopened. Further attempts work out.
Comment 6 Jan Becicka 2001-05-16 09:56:49 UTC
I'm setting priority to P4, because I've tested it on [010514_3] and it works
fine. If this bug will not occur in future I will resolve the issue as
WORKSFORME.
Comment 7 Jan Becicka 2001-06-21 17:08:33 UTC
[010620_1] Bug still lives.
Comment 8 Svata Dedic 2001-06-27 09:13:29 UTC
Confirmed; it seems that even new editor windows do not create the toolbar,
not only pre-existing ones.
Comment 9 Svata Dedic 2001-06-28 09:04:07 UTC
I've made a mistake when testing the feature (the IDE was a custom patched
build). I cannot reproduce it on "official" builds.
Please reopen if you have a reproducible case - please provide steps for
reproduction then.
Comment 10 K.C. Baltz 2001-10-30 18:23:30 UTC
In 3.2.1, I was able to turn this setting on and have it affect
previously opened editor panes. However, turning the setting off
again had no effect i.e. the toolbar was still present.
Comment 11 Svata Dedic 2001-10-31 06:59:38 UTC
Should be already fixed in dev/beta/Q builds for some time.
Comment 12 Jan Becicka 2001-11-06 16:20:06 UTC
Seems to be fixed in [200111060100]
Comment 13 Quality Engineering 2003-07-01 13:15:08 UTC
Resolved for 3.4.x or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
