NetBeans Ruby IDE 070420 1.6.0-rc; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0-rc-b99 Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86 en_US (nbrubyide); Cp1252 ------------------------------- - create some foo controller, this is what you get: class FooController < ApplicationController end - if you want to add action and do it like this: place caret on start of line with "end" and push enter, to move this line down. Push up arrow to move cusror to that empty line, type "def myaction", and hit enter - no matching end to def is generated
Reassigning this issue to newly created 'ruby' component.
This occurs because you're typing "def" at the left margin (aligned with "class") instead of indented (hit Tab). Perhaps we should automatically indent "def" when you type the last "f" (the same way else is reindented) ?
Yes, I guess we should automatically indent 'def'. Probably won't get to this in 6.7 though.
