NB 6's new Plugin Manager, the New Plugins tab, for UML feature only has the following submodules. The 18th submodule named "Template Based Code Generation" is not there so installation of UML feature is not complete. Antlr [1.2.0] Core Modeling Library [1.2.0] Design Center [1.2.0] Documentation Control [1.2.0] Dom4j Dependency Libraries [1.2.0] Drawing Library [1.2.0] DOORS Requirements Provider [1.2.0] Java 5.0 Parser [1.2.0] Modeling Drawing Area Component [1.2.0] Modeling Palette [1.2.0] Requirements Framework [1.2.0] UML Modeling [1.2.0] UML-NetBeans Integration [1.2.0] UML Projects [1.2.0] UML Properties [1.2.0] Web Report [1.2.0] XML Requirements Provider [1.2.0]
Roberte, can you please double check that all UML modules were published Please look into some e-mails with URLs to the bits. Peter, are you sure that "Template Based Code Generation" module really belongs to the UML pack? I am not aware of this and ZIP files sent to me contained only 17 modules.
Zip file that I received was containing only listed 17 modules. Module "Template Based Code Generation" wasn't there.
Attached is one of the uml builds containing all 18 nbms/submodules. "Template Based Code Generation" is a newly added numbered 18th module.
looks like the attachment for the zip file did go through ok. anyway, here's the complete list of the module names. org-netbeans-modules-antlr.nbm org-netbeans-modules-uml-codegen.nbm org-netbeans-modules-uml-designpattern.nbm org-netbeans-modules-uml-documentation.nbm org-netbeans-modules-uml-dom4jlib.nbm org-netbeans-modules-uml-drawingarea.nbm org-netbeans-modules-uml-integration.nbm org-netbeans-modules-uml-kit.nbm org-netbeans-modules-uml-palette.nbm org-netbeans-modules-uml-parser-java.nbm org-netbeans-modules-uml-project.nbm org-netbeans-modules-uml-propertysupport.nbm org-netbeans-modules-uml-reporting.nbm org-netbeans-modules-uml-requirements-doorsprovider.nbm org-netbeans-modules-uml-requirements-xmlrequirements.nbm org-netbeans-modules-uml-requirements.nbm org-netbeans-modules-uml-tomsawyer.nbm org-netbeans-modules-uml.nbm
Actually, if you looked at the UML installation using the latest NB6's NBI from the Installed tab of the Plugins Manager, there are also 18 UML submodules there.
OK, Peter does it mean you want to republish the UML modules on 6.0 Development Update Center only or does it also apply to 5.5/5.5.1 UCs? In the latter case, this issue is incorrectly set to 6.0/dev. Thanks for clarification.
There should be 2 different UC's. This new module is only for NB6. What's already there for NB5.5/5.5.1 should not be modified.
OK, in such case could you please Roberte stage all the 18 UML modules on the development 6.0 update center?
Ok, will do. thanks.
All 18 UML modules are now available on the Dev UC for NB 6.0 These module have build number 070323_3. Please, let me know if a newer version should be uploaded
Thanks Robert. Build 070323_3 is quite old but our regular daily Hydra build is still broken so I don't know what the latest is now since I'm testing with the latest NB6 NBI. The latest NB6 Module/Plugin manager has no way of showing what UML build number I'm on so I can't tell you. If you can find out what the latest NBI uses for UML, that's what should be at the NB6 UC for UML.
This has been in STARTED status for a long time. Are new modules going to be uploaded or is it a final status for now?
Peter, Karthik, what's the current status of this issue? Can you please comment?
I recommend to close this issue modules UML modules are available on all requested UC - Stable for NB 5.5 and 5.5.1 and Dev UC for NB 6.0 If modules available on Dev need to be updated, please, submit a new issue.
I do see 18 modules now listed in the dev center. I am closing this bug as per Robert's suggestion. Petrsl: I noticed that the short description for org.netbeans.modules.uml.codegen is set as '"UML Code Generation' and not as "Template Based Code Generation" as mentioned in this issue. If that is a bug, then please file a separate one against the module.
